Walk on the Wildside

I just got back from a two week trip to Jasper, Banff and Kootenay National Parks. I was looking to photograph wildlife and started in Jasper. There were a number of elk still hanging around after their mating season.

There were a number of bighorn sheep also in Jasper.

Heading south to Banff I came across this coyote.

There were a number of deer hanging around and walking the streets of Banff.

The best part of the trip for me was Kootenay National Park. Besides this coyote, I ran across a number of wolves.

The coolest wolf was this black one.

I've only seen a few wolves before this trip and this was my first black one. I did make a video travel log of the trip. It shows the blind and the setup I used for the wolf pictures. There are 3 videos, Part 3 displays first. Here's the link http://www.youtube.com/user/lensslave To see more images please go to my Flickr page http://www.flickr.com/photos/9453805@N07/
